High Protein Peppermint Mocha (Better than Starbucks!)

Love the flavor of Peppermint Mocha but also wanting to be a little healthier in the New Year?

Introducing my new favorite collagen creamer, the Chocolate Collagen Creamer from Naked Nutrition!

The team at Naked Nutrition asked me to try out this new product and I am so glad I did.

There are so many benefits to collagen. It is a fantastic supplement for improving gut health, improving skin, nail and hair health (even my aesthetician agrees!).

In addition, adding collagen to your drinks helps to increase your protein intake during the day, without changing the texture of the drink and making it thick and cloying, which can sometimes happen with protein powders. This collagen creamer also dissolves very quickly in hot liquids and doesn’t create clumps that are hard to break up during stirring.

I particularly love the Chocolate Collagen Creamer because it has a delicious milk chocolate flavor, perfect for adding to your fave coffee to create a mocha.

Naked Nutrition also has minimal ingredients in their creamer, so you can feel good about the quality and integrity of what you’re adding to your drinks.

If you’re looking for a simple healthy habit to add in the New Year, adding collagen to your hot drinks is a delicious and easy habit to start.

That’s why I’m sharing my High Protein Peppermint Mocha recipe so you can see just how easy it is to make healthy improvements to your daily eating and drinking.

High Protein Peppermint Mocha

Ingredients:

2-4 scoops of Naked Nutrition Chocolate Collagen Creamer

8 oz your fave hot coffee or coffee alternative

1/2 tsp Peppermint Extract

1/4 cup milk of choice, optional

Instructions:

1) To a mug, add the Naked Nutrition Chocolate Collagen Creamer. I recommend using 2 scoops for 18 G protein at a minimum, and up to 4 scoops to increase the chocolate flavor as well as collagen intake.

2) Add hot coffee and stir thoroughly to dissolve the collagen creamer into the liquid.

3) Add the Peppermint extract and stir once more.

4) Optional: add milk to give extra creaminess to the mocha.

5) Enjoy hot or pour over ice to create an Iced Peppermint Mocha.
